1. About Posh Points
Posh Points is a customer referral scheme operated by Posh Frocks, a ladies' evening and prom wear boutique based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
The scheme rewards existing customers for introducing new customers to Posh Frocks. Participation is subject to these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1. To become eligible for Posh Points, a customer must purchase any prom dress from Posh Frocks.
2.2. Once their purchase has been completed, the customer may receive a unique referral code or referral card from Posh Frocks.
2.3. There is no joining fee or membership fee required to participate in the referral scheme.
2.4. Referral codes are issued to individual customers and must not be sold or exchanged for payment.
2.5. Posh Frocks reserves the right to refuse or withdraw participation where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, misuse or a breach of these terms.
3. The Reward for Referring a Friend
3.1. An eligible customer may earn £10 cashback for each successful referral.
3.2. Cashback is earned only when a referred friend completes a qualifying prom dress purchase in accordance with Section 4.
3.3. There is no limit on the number of successful referrals a customer can make. Customers can earn £10 cashback for every qualifying referral, with no maximum cashback limit.
3.4. No reward is paid for simply sharing a code, distributing a card, signing up another person or recruiting other referrers. A reward is earned only when a genuine qualifying dress purchase takes place.
3.5. Cashback cannot be earned on a customer's own purchases or on purchases made using a referral code where the referring and purchasing customer are the same person.
4. The Reward for the Referred Friend
4.1. A referred friend may receive £15 off a qualifying prom dress purchase at Posh Frocks.
4.2. To qualify, the friend must purchase a prom dress with a ticket price of at least £250 before the £15 referral discount is applied.
4.3. The friend must present a valid Posh Points referral code or referral card at the time of purchase and before payment is completed.
4.4. The referral discount cannot be applied retrospectively to a completed purchase.
4.5. The referral discount applies to one qualifying prom dress per referral transaction and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4.6. The referral discount cannot be combined with other promotional discounts, offers or vouchers.
5. What Counts as a Successful Referral?
5.1. A successful referral occurs when:
-
An eligible customer shares their valid referral code with a friend.
-
The friend presents the code before payment.
-
The friend purchases a qualifying prom dress with a ticket price of at least £250 before the referral discount.
-
The transaction is genuine and completed at Posh Frocks.
-
The purchase is recorded by a member of the Posh Frocks team.
5.2. The referring customer earns £10 cashback for each successful referral.
5.3. A referral cannot be claimed on behalf of a customer who has already completed their purchase.
5.4. Posh Frocks may decline a referral where the transaction involves a duplicate claim, false information, self-referral or other reasonable evidence of abuse.
6. Cashback Payments
6.1. Cashback will be recorded by Posh Frocks once a qualifying referral has been verified.
6.2. Cashback will be paid within 30 days of the qualifying purchase, subject to verification and the customer providing any information reasonably required to arrange payment.
6.3. Cashback will be paid using a method agreed with Posh Frocks.
6.4. Cashback is a cash reward and is not store credit or a discount voucher.
6.5. Cashback cannot be transferred to another customer, sold or exchanged for a different reward.
7. Referral Codes and Cards
7.1. Referral codes and cards remain subject to these terms and conditions.
7.2. Customers may share their referral code with friends and family for personal, non-commercial use.
7.3. Customers must not create duplicate identities, use false details, claim rewards for their own purchases or knowingly submit misleading referral information.
7.4. Referral codes must be presented before the referred customer's transaction is completed.
7.5. Lost, damaged or illegible referral cards should be reported to Posh Frocks. Replacement cards may be issued at the boutique's discretion.
8. Returns, Cancellations and Fraud Prevention
8.1. Posh Frocks operates its usual returns policy. This does not affect customers' statutory rights, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
8.2. If a qualifying transaction is cancelled, found to be fraudulent or otherwise invalid, the associated referral reward may be withheld or corrected where appropriate and lawful.
8.3. Posh Frocks will not unreasonably withhold rewards for genuine qualifying purchases.
8.4. Nothing in these terms removes or limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Scheme Rules and Changes
9.1. Posh Frocks reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Posh Points scheme where reasonably necessary, including to prevent fraud, address operational issues or comply with legal requirements.
9.2. Any material changes will be communicated to customers where reasonably practicable.
9.3. Changes will not retrospectively remove rewards already validly earned, except where a reward was obtained through fraud, error or other circumstances where correction is lawful.
9.4. Posh Frocks will administer the scheme fairly and consistently.
10. No Recruitment or Membership Payments
10.1. Posh Points is a retail customer referral promotion, not a paid membership or recruitment scheme.
10.2. Customers do not pay to join and do not earn rewards for recruiting people into Posh Points.
10.3. Rewards arise solely from qualifying purchases of prom dresses by referred customers, subject to these terms.
11. General
11.1. These terms apply to participation in Posh Points and should be read alongside any specific information supplied with a referral card.
11.2. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
11.3. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
